South Beach Miami
I may be the only person who has never been to South Beach Miami if, by chance you have not; I am sharing my experience in Miami. Streets filled with people; singing, drinking, eating and dancing; even the non-joiners feel a part of the in-crowd. I heard about Cuban coffee, and that will be on my list to try first.
Wally and I loved the energy of the town, and If you haven’t tried Cuban coffee, it is a must. They have a unique way of making it that includes whipping sugar; Moka Bee’s shows in there “how to” video. The Miami New Times; offers 10 of the best Cuban coffee Places. The Cuban sandwiches are unlike anything I found on the west coast; they serve them in most restaurants. In search of a quiet place for a drink on the beach.
The St. Regis hotel is a lovely location where you can relax with some friends without the noise of the streets. If you are looking for a fantastic meal try the famous Joes Stone Crab; two choices when it comes to dining: formal and casual. The formal side; proper attire for dinner is required. If you are walking in from the beach casual is best: Joe’s takeout, order to go and eat at the Bar.
The beach walk spans about four miles with views of the ocean and luxury resorts, the beach is further from the hotels, however, each resort has valet service. The ones I have seen will set up the umbrella and chairs with food and drink service.
